cant stop listen the origlinal.. wow ...relative 16th instalment sees label head john swing back at the controls with a killer four track ep. the title track “get rhythm” comes with relative’s signature gritty house sound in its original mix while the arp mix shakes peak time dance floors with hypnotic arpeggios and rumbling drums. the b side opens up with a relentless african congas ride boosting the rhythmic section with an energetic afro feel. the -other version- closes this meteoric ep with a deep, jackin cut-throat groove.

planet rhythm latest vinyl contribution comes by rennes based producer berg jaär. berg comes as a true addition to the ever growing prruk reportoire. firm drums and sturdy fx serve as the backbone of his contribution. with little info to be found about the french producer this release serves as the perfect example of the adventurous mode that planet rhythm currently finds itself in. moody yet intrusive in many ways.

cardopusher appears as if by magic on super rhythm trax to drop four acid bangers. there are no frills or pretensions here, just jugular acid trax that dont mess around. straight up, solid and perfect for dark strobe lit basements. this ep channels the rawness with aplomb.

after the big success of the reissue of “mbg ep one”, we are proud to introduce the release of optik “music harmony & rhythm”, another great ep originally released in 1991 under mbg international records. optik is the alias of giorgio canepa and ricky montanari, two of the most talented italian producers from the early 90s italian underground-house movement. in this ep we find two killer deep-house tracks, “music harmony and rhythm” and “illusions”, two great examples of the italo-house touch of the early 90s that we found in a lots of other productions by mbg, don carlos and key tronics ensemble, to name a few plus “illusion” which is also sure an epic track, it was the last disc played at vae victis (misano, italy) and the first disc played at novenove (gradara, italy), two of the most famous italian after hours of the 90 s era. fully re-mastered, dmm cutted, re-pressed & re-released for 2015 in it s original format from the original mastertapes, with the permission & participation of all rights holders with all original mbg label artwork intact.

after the success of the henry wu & chaos in the cbd releases, rhythm section international present their 9th offering from mancunian newcomer contours. technician is a percussion led rhythmic exploration, spanning 6 tracks which take in down-tempo grooves to up-beat workouts, all held together by a smooth, lucid sonic palette and arresting, unorthodox live percussive elements. already an accomplished drummer and percussionist, contours manages to combine driving rhythm, lush textures and hypnotic melodies to create a sound that feels very much at home as part of the rhythm section imprint, while simultaneously pushing it forward into new, undiscovered territory. one for the heads, one for the dancers, one for the warm up, one for the afterparty.

detroits jared wilson provides the 10th release for super rhythm trax and it lives up to it s title.
on *plate mining* and *idea of a deep state*, jared goes in deep with lush, strings that sooth you as the 303 works it s magic underneath. while *how deep* provides a brooding acid line and works the percussion. minimal but deadly.
jared has long been on the srtx want list after proving himself as a master craftsman with a slew of classy releases on his own 7777 label. super rhythm trax is overjoyed to have him on the roster being one of the most skilled knob twiddlers out there who knows how to work it but also and perhaps more importantly, when to hold back.

lisbon based techno producer re:axis returns to planet rhythm with his new solo ep *light & shadows*. after the success of his previous effort through the imprint, this time, re:axis comes up with an ep filled with swelling synth sounds and thoroughly produced drums. from the swell bass sounds in *light & shadows* to the rough mechanical sounding notes in *galactica*, re:axis stands his ground and delivers a percussive laden ep for peak-time club action.

ahead of their highly anticipated debut lp due on golf channel this fall, the berlin duo drop this little taster. the heavy, percussion driven analogue sound that is their trademark comes in two tight packages. the title track is all snaky rhythms and squelchy riffing and comes complete with exactly the kind of dense, break heavy remix that we would expect from compatriot, and top buddy of the band, wolf muller. flipside revanche is a sunnier affair, deft touches on the acoustic guitar and lighter percussion, but no less the party starter because of it. golf channel every time !

bond commander petter b lands on planet rhythm with a bombshell record that contains 3 staggering originals and a fierce re:axis remix. the opening effort *cc21* is a rough repetitive pacer that will definitely turn some heads. *transporter* serves as a vibey yet evolving piece of work that builds up the tension but let s go every now and then. *protoportal* is yet again a repetitive grower with a somewhat less dark build as the opening tracks. re:axis closes down with a robust rework of *transporter*. belter record.

feelings is the next single to be released ahead of tim deluxes highly anticipated lp the radicle, a deep and jazzy cut which includes two distinct versions. with its deep jazzy reprise and classic french house-influenced tone, the club edit pairs a shuffling groove with freeform trumpet courtesy of renowned instrumentalist jay phelps with whom tim has worked extensively. the ice cream dub throws back to tim’s garage-roots, with the name directly referencing the highly influential record label he founded back in the 90s. tim skilfully blends the techniques of his heritage with the more modern, garage-influenced house sounds, creating a bubbling, low-end monster.
